Bengals News: Joe Mixon not a fan of Chiefs vs Bills presale ticket announcement

It’s been a year since the epic Divisional Round game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills took place. If a playoff rematch takes place next week, it will be played at the Falcons’ home stadium in Atlanta, a neutral site for two teams that haven’t played the same number of games during the regular season.

The NFL has announced a ticket presale for the potential AFC Championship game, and Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is not having it.

“To be honest, it’s disrespectful, but we’re not worried about it,” Mixon told reporters this week. “We have a game to play on Sunday, don’t we? So you can’t count us. We’re going there on Sunday, and we’re going to do what we have to do to come back with this W.

“And then we’ll see what they talk about.”

Truth be told, that’s not the only presale going on right now. There is a pre-sale for the Bengals hosting the AFC title game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bills hosting the Jags and the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Bengals. The only difference is the price, which is significantly higher for Bills-Chiefs due to the neutral setting.

But that doesn’t matter to a group of players who feel they haven’t been treated fairly by the league and have reason to support it.

Mixon and the Bengals have grown to weaponize any disrespect they can do. They are the NFL’s Michael Jordan sitting down for The Last Dance interviews.

Everything is personal.
