Julia Lishia of Mars takes on Robin Reilly of Latrobe for a header in their WPIAL Class 3A Semi-Final in November.

Robin Reilly is taking his game to a national stage – again.

The Latrobe footballer has been selected for elite-level experience on the cup circuit for the second consecutive year.

As a sophomore, Reilly was selected to the 2023 United States Youth Olympic Soccer national development team pool. She will represent PA West Soccer at the Dallas Cup in April.

Reilly, a Division I college prospect, started playing at the ODP when she was in the sixth grade.

“My goal was always to make the national team when I was old enough to qualify, and I was lucky to make it through both years,” Reilly said. “Meeting players and coaches nationally has been an amazing opportunity for me, and it’s also been a great learning experience.”

So honored to be selected with such a talented group. I can’t wait for Dallas!!! https://t.co/OzvSoq3jju

Reilly, who had 17 goals and 13 assists last fall for Latrobe and earned All-WPIAL honors, has progressed through three identification camps: state, regional and interregional.

She advanced through pools of 144 and then 72 to make the final cut with 18 players.

“Looking back on the process, I’m beyond proud to be able to represent PA West and the Eastern Region on the national team,” Reilly said.
