“Don’t Give His Secret Identity Away”: NBA Fans Laugh at Luka Doncic’s Father for Looking Straight Out of a Disney Movie

On Wednesday night, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Atlanta Hawks. At the end of the final buzzer, the Hawks managed to pull off an eight-point win – extending their winning streak. That win was led by Trae Young’s 18 points and Dejounte Murray’s 30 points. Like almost every game this season, Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavs with 30 points and 8 assists, but his efforts were in vain. That said, Luka’s father, Sasa Doncic, sat on the sidelines of this game and, unbeknownst to him, he made NBA fans laugh online.

During the match, the camera turned to Sasa Doncic. Sasa looked serious as she watched her son in the field. But her expression and posture reminded Emmy-winning director Jason Gallagher of a character in a Disney movie. The character he was thinking of was Mr. Incredible from the movie ‘The Incredibles’. He posted a photo of Sasa Doncic in Incredibles gear and captioned it, “Wait a minute,” leaving NBA fans wide open.

Coaches’ post-match reactions

As Doncic tried to take control of the narrative, he was helped by Spencer Dinwiddie’s 20 points and Christian Wood’s 22 points respectively. However, as head coach Jason Kidd claimed, the Mavs were short on both ends of the field.

According to ESPN, he said: “Until we make better efforts on defense and understand what we need to do, we’re going to score 120 but we’re going to give 130, 140.”

On the other hand, Hawks coach Nate McMillian was impressed with his team’s performance. He talked about the teamwork between Murray and Young and said that was what the team was looking for. He said: “Trae has done a good job, understanding that [Murray] had a warm hand, felt it and was in a rhythm and we tried to milk that.
