As New NASCAR Journeys Begin, Kyle Busch and Hendrick Motorsports Legend Jimmie Johnson Treat Fans With Special Sponsor Twist

The period between November and February tends to be very difficult for fans to bear. Not having NASCAR action to look forward to each week is devastating. But with only weeks to go until the first race of the season, fans will now be sitting on the edge of their seats. More than that, updates from drivers like Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch add to that excitement.
Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch have announced some major career updates lately. Busch will be racing for Richard Childress Racing for the first time, in 2023. After this protracted and overly bitter divorce from Joe Gibbs Racing, his eyes will be firmly on trying to start his journey with RCR on a solid footing.

Kyle Busch loves his new team
Since joining the team in the offseason, Busch has posted several photos — some of his race preparations, others of media duties for sponsors.
His most recent photos (through his wife, Samantha’s account) were from Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, one of his new sponsors. The message contained several photos of the family enjoying their time at the restaurant.
Samantha wrote in the Instagram post, “Family Night @cheddarskitchen 😋. Mom had the salmon, dad the ribs, Brexton the steak 🥩, Lennix all the croissants 🥐. Which of our meals would you have ordered?!”
It’s great to see Busch happy and smiling again, after his last few months at JGR. Fans will be relieved and hope they can see the best of him in 2023.
Jimmie Johnson offers fans the chance to join the Legacy
Johnson, on the other hand, also went through many changes, but not as turbulent or unsettling. After retiring from NASCAR in 2017, the seven-time champion raced in the Indy Series.
But that changed when he announced his return to the Cup Series alongside Petty GMS last year. It wasn’t a full-time pilot role like in his previous avatar, however. Johnson was now moving into a role of part-time owner, part-time driver.

Things changed again this year, as Johnson and Richard Petty announced the rebranding of the team. They revealed that going forward the team will be called Legacy Motor Club.
Since this is a new team, fans are not yet “bound” to the team. In order to create a connection, Johnson revealed via an Instagram story, they created a special chance for fans to do so.
In the story, Johnson said, “Want a chance to join me at this year’s Daytona 500? Carvana is going to give an experience to one lucky fan. Click the link below to enter and have a VIP experience with me at the Daytona 500.” Here’s the link for interested readers.
