Sex/Life season 2 not coming to Netflix in February 2023
Netflix has officially unveiled the February 2023 schedule, and sadly, Sex/Life season 2 isn’t on it, meaning the romantic drama won’t return next month. It’s a surprising move on Netflix’s part, as a Valentine’s Day release window would be especially fitting for the Sarah Shahi series.
Fans are dying to know what’s next for Billie (Shahi) after Season 1 left things on a dramatic cliffhanger. Billie spent eight episodes struggling to decide whether to cheat on husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) with her sexy ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos) and the finale (SPOILER!) ended with her seemingly determined Brad leaving. to have an affair.
Given this spicy twist, viewers are curious to know how Billie’s decisions will pan out. Is she really going to tear down her marriage for her ex? How will Cooper feel when he inevitably finds out? Is this the end of their marriage?
Sex/Life Season 2 Updates
Even if Sex/Life doesn’t return in February, chances are a release date is just around the corner. I can’t imagine Netflix will wait any longer than March or April at the latest, as the series wrapped production a long time ago. The second season is only six episodes long, so it wouldn’t have taken that long to polish it up and get it ready for release.
Beyond the episode count, we also know that Sex/Life season 2 added several new characters, who will be played by Batwoman’s Wallis Day, Orphan Black alum Dylan Bruce, Craig Bierko (UnREAL) , Cleo Anthony (Roswell, New Mexico) and Darius Homayoun (Estate).
In addition to series regulars like Vogel, Shahi, Demos, and Margaret Odette (who plays Sasha), Season 2 will also see the return of recurring characters Francesca (Li Jun Li) and Devon (Jonathan Sadowski).
Are you disappointed that Season 2 of Sex/Life won’t be released in February? Stay tuned to Netflix Life for more Sex/Life updates.
