When Does ‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’ Come Out? How to Watch the 2023 Movie on Paramount+
Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin are showing their teeth this weekend in Paramount+’s Teen Wolf: The Movie because time is a flat circle and we’ll never truly escape the year 2011.
Directed by Russell Mulcahy, who was a key producer on MTV’s Teen Wolf series, and written by series creator Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie picks up 13 years after we last saw Scott McCall. (Even though the supernatural teen drama only aired six years ago, the film jumps to the year 2026.) Most of the original cast are back, including Posey, Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Linden Ashby, Melissa Ponzio, and JR Bourne.
The glaring exception, of course, is fan-favorite Dylan O’Brien as Stiles, who won’t appear in the film. “It was hard to make the decision that I made,” O’Brien told Decider in a previous interview when asked if he had decided not to be in the film. “But I think I came to the one who was most true to myself right now.”
