In accordance with the regulations, stage points will always be awarded. However, the cars did not slow down during breaks. The race would continue, just without needing to slow down any longer. However, where does Tyler Reddick come from in all of this? Why do people think he would fall victim to the new rule?

Well, it’s because of Reddick’s story at Homestead in 2020. He apparently lost the lap count and started to slow down a lap before the end of the race.

NASCAR fans pick Tyler Reddick as victim of rule change

Considering what happened, fans were quick to pick Reddick as the one who would forget about the new rules as well. Maybe even accidentally slowing down during stage breaks on road courses.

This marks Tyler Reddick’s first season with the team owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. After leaving RCR a year earlier than expected, he joined 23XI Racing. However, we would still have to wait before passing judgment on him. Who knows, he could become the new star of 23XI Racing.

Also, this isn’t the only new rule change, in fact, there are several more. Some would even play in favor of other teams on the grid. Given Reddick’s prowess on the track, he has a good chance of outplaying his teammate and possibly even picking up more wins than last year. He could even slip easily into the playoffs. As the excitement reaches an all-time high, we can’t wait to see what Reddick has to prove with his new team.
