The February 2023 PS Plus Essential games have been officially announced, and yes, last weekend’s leak was absolutely spot on.

There are four titles up for grabs, which you can add to your library starting February 7. Here’s what subscribers can expect:

That’s quite a diverse lineup, isn’t it? OlliOlli World gets an immediate recommendation from us – an excellent independent skater full of personality and charm. And if that’s not quite your thing, there’s the rather impressive Mafia: Definitive Edition – a complete remake of the original PS2 title of wise cracking and crime. Meanwhile, Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer version that makes friends especially laugh.

Elsewhere, Destiny 2: Beyond Light expands Bungie’s shooter quite significantly and could prove to be a solid introduction to Destiny 2 as a whole. With Destiny 2: Lightfall releasing later this month (not to be confused with 2020’s Beyond Light, by the way), it might be a good time to dive in if you haven’t already.

So what do you think of the February 2023 PS Plus games? Is it a solid lineup or are you disappointed with the selection? Give us an honest opinion in the comments section below.
