It Sounds Like Tom Brady’s Warning Us Of His Movie Stardom

It’s not particularly strange or unheard of for professional athletes to get into acting. Sometimes, for example, it leads to a flourishing and successful career. Other times it doesn’t work. But the fear of making a movie that might not hit isn’t something that scares Tom Brady, clearly, as 80 For Brady hits theaters this week.
It seems the former professional soccer player was bitten by the acting bug after his screen debut in the sports comedy your mom and her book club friends rave about. While on the 80 For Brady red carpet, the football player said he might be interested in becoming the world’s next big movie star. “I would love that,” he said when asked to star in another film. “I had fun.”
Fun is one way to describe 80 For Brady, the comedy that follows a group of legendary actresses as they travel to Houston to see Brady perform in Super Bowl LI. Brady is starring in and producing the film, so maybe he’ll have a future producing adjacent sports films.
Of course, when asked about his retirement from football, Brady replied: “When do I have to make the decision? These things take time. We have to marinate it a bit. He made the decision about 8 hours later. Can -be has he also marinated his film career!
