KENT – A new era begins this season for Kent State football and with it a new benefits package for Kent State football season ticket holders.
The Golden Flashes will play five home games in the first season of the Kent GRIT era under new head coach Kenni Burns. The Flashes will host Central Connecticut State on Saturday, Sept. 16 during the non-conference slate. Bowling Green, Buffalo, Miami and Northern Illinois will all travel to Dix Stadium for conference games. MAC play days and times have yet to be determined.
This year, season ticket holders will receive additional benefits as part of their package. In addition to the discounted ticket price, fans will receive an invitation to the annual Donor Appreciation Night in the President’s Box for the Senior Night Game. Fans will also receive TWO season ticket giveaways, a schedule magnet, and a Kent GRIT helmet signed by Coach Burns.
All subscription holders will also be added to the Coach Burns Messages mailing list and receive invitations to Zoom calls with Coach Burns as he virtually meets with fans and donors throughout the year.
“We are thrilled to begin the Kent GRIT era under Coach Burns,” said ticketing manager Andrew Hammond. “These gifts are linked to the identity of the team and will offer fans the opportunity to get a glimpse of our football programme.”
Season tickets for the 2023 season start at $60 for general admission. Season tickets for fans who want to upgrade to Section Four are $85. Kent State faculty and staff get ten dollars off their subscription package. Questions regarding President’s Box tickets can be directed to the Golden Flashes Club.
