Apollo Crews is bringing MYSTERY BACK-UP to Vengeance Day

We have seen many mystery partners these days. Mysterious adversaries too. Facing Carmelo Hayes and his ever-present wingman Trick Williams on Saturday night (February 4) in Charlotte, NC on Vengeance Day PLE, Apollo Crews brings MYSTERY BACK-UP!
Like most things during Crews’ current NXT run, this news came to us (and Apollo, presumably) in a vision.
Most of the guesses I’ve seen involve a repackaged Babatunde Aiyegbusi, the Nigerian-Polish former professional soccer player who wrestled as Dabba-Kato in Raw Underground before being repackaged as Commander Azeez, the muscle behind Crews’ main composition. This makes sense, and the figure in Apollo’s vision does not contradict this theory. But I’m sure there are few other suspects that we don’t think about.
It is a MYSTERY, after all. And it’s not the only one going on in NXT right now, as you’ll learn by checking out this playlist of other highlights and spinoff videos from last night’s show:
