WESTBOROUGH — Mini-golf is coming to the Westborough Public Library for the first time in six years.
“Putt Fore the Library” will take place on February 3 and 4. During these two days, the library will be transformed into a giant 18-hole indoor mini-golf course.
The hours will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 3; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4.
In addition to golf, there will be refreshments and a raffle.
“We’ve done Library Mini Golf a few times in the past, but haven’t done it since 2017, and we’re excited to bring it back. It’s such a fun event,” the library manager said. , Maureen Amyot.
“We are all very happy to bring back this popular fundraising event,” said Wendi Comey, treasurer of the Friends of the Westborough Public Library.
Mobile Mini Golf events manager Joe Buckley said it was the first time their Norfolk-based company had held an event for the Westborough Library. Mobile Mini Golf typically hosts between 30 and 40 library programs a year in addition to their on-campus, retirement, and corporate events.
Buckley said Mobile Mini Golf turns the library into a “day of discovery.”
“A lot of people go straight to the children’s room; others never come close to the kids or teens area, and it’s a chance for everyone to explore all the different spaces the library has to offer,” he said.

Putt Fore the Library tickets will be available at the door; admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-17; and free for children under 5 years old.
Proceeds will help the Friends fund the library’s children’s and teen programs this summer.
