NFL players mock Arian Foster for saying he received ‘script’ for rigged NFL games
Arian Foster made waves on a podcast Tuesday claiming the NFL is rigged and players were given scripts before games.
While it’s hard to tell how serious he was — probably not at all — he certainly had an inventive story about how the NFL handled its games.
On the PFT Commenter podcast, which Foster guested on, the host said “every year he used to get a script. Day 1 of boot camp, it was dropped in his locker.”
Foster picked up the ball and ran with it.
“We were really dedicated to it,” he said. “So it was more like that than it was the practice, it was about the practice of the script. Like that’s what happens, that’s what we have to do… WWF so we know what was going to happen but you still have to put in a show.”

“The Script” has been a running gag in the sports world, with people regularly commenting on how crazy seasons can get. Somehow, someone will take Foster’s comments to further their own conspiracies. But for now, it’s led to some good jokes from players who weren’t entirely happy with how their seasons – or even their careers – have been going.
