Johnson, who last appeared in 2019’s ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’, later responded to his rival’s claim in an interview with CNN and called the post “an example of his manipulation.” . “I told him directly — and privately — that I wouldn’t be returning to the franchise,” Johnson told the outlet. “I was firm but cordial with my words and said I would always support the cast and always support the success of the franchise, but there was no way I would return.”
