Netflix has a nifty new feature for members of its Premium plan. Spatial audio will make you feel like you’re in a cinema. You don’t need any additional equipment to use this new feature.

You can already experience Netflix in crystal-clear 4K HDR video resolution and now the video streaming giant is ready to take it to the next level.

Netflix on Thursday announced a hot new feature at no additional cost to members of its Premium plan.

Viewers can now experience spatial sound when watching their favorite shows or movies.

This high-quality sound experience feels like being in a cinema, with no additional equipment required.

Over 700 of Netflix’s top titles (including Stranger Things, The Watcher, Wednesday and Knives Out: Glass Onion) can now be viewed with the immersive sound experience.

“This truly magical sound experience is a game-changer for the Premium plan viewing experience, and we’re excited to add this capability to other features we already support like 4K, HDR, Dolby Atmos and Calibrated Mode. Netflix,” Rishu Arora, director of product management at Netflix, said in a press release.

Look for a new spatial audio badge on shows and movies or just type “spatial audio” into the search bar on Netflix to find shows and movies with the new and improved feature.
