5 best golf courses in Florida, USA (2023)

A few golf courses in America are the best places to play golf on earth. Stretching from coast to coast, there are tons of excellent scenic courses built for the enjoyment of golfers.

Florida is arguably one of the best states to play golf. Like the courses there, the weather is incredibly pleasant. Here are some of those courses.

Best Golf Courses in Florida 5) Trump International Golf Club

This golf course may be one of the best golf courses in the state, but it is also one of the most popular. Considering the owner status, just about everyone has heard of this course. Fortunately, its infamy is deserved and people who play there know that it is not just a famous but an excellent golf course.

4) Jupiter Hills Golf Club

This golf course is located in Tequesta. It’s great to play as it covers well over 7,000 yards and is only par 70. It’s great for those who aren’t necessarily pros as it’s easy to navigate and relatively easy to play . This is probably the reason why so many youth and amateur tournaments are held there.

3) TPC Saw Grass

TPC Sawgrass is one of the best in the world and has some of the most unique holes. The Golf Digest preview reads:

“TPC’s stadium concept was the brainchild of then-PGA Tour Commissioner Deane Beman. The 1980 design was pure Pete Dye, who set out to test the best golfers in the world by mixing distance requirements with target golf.”

Playing on this golf course is truly an experience to be had.

2) Seminole Seminole Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in the world

Despite the controversy sparked by the recent banning of LIV Golf members from its club, the Seminole golf course is one of the best in the world, not just in Florida. Golf Daily said:

“A stately design by Donald Ross with clever routing on a rectangular site, every hole at Seminole encounters a new wind direction. The greens are no longer Ross, replaced 50 years ago in a regrassing effort that showed little improvement. appreciation for the original rolling contours. The bunkers aren’t Ross either. Dick Wilson replaced them in 1947, his own version intended to mimic the crests of the waves on the adjacent Atlantic.

Naturally, these changes have only added to the appeal of one of the best golf courses to play on.

1) Calusa Pines

Calusa Pines Golf Club has been on Golf Daily since 2007, which says a lot about the experience the course offers golfers. It also received an average rating of 4.6.

Calusa Pines is home to some of the most fun holes in all of the United States, not just Florida. The golf course has been ranked among the top three in the state for the past 12 years.
