Men’s tennis plays in rematch against NKU

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The EKU men’s tennis team (1-2) plays in a rematch against NKU (3-3) on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Five Seasons Sports Club. “We had time to prepare for the game and we’re ready for another battle,” said head coach Adam Cohen.


THE COLONELS

EKU enters the game with a 1-2 record as they look to rebound from their 5-0 loss to Louisville. The Colonels lost in a tight game against the Norse by the score of 4-3 on January 18 in Richmond. Kristoffer Stahlbrand leads the Browns and Whites this season in singles, as he is 2-0 from third place. He won against NKU’s Tom Berry two weeks ago, 6-2, 6-4. Stahlbrand and Zach White are 2-1 in doubles, beating NKU and Campbellsville 6-1 from second place.

SCOUTING NKU The Norse enter the game with a 3-3 record, most recently beating Thomas More 6-1 on January 27. NKU is led by Josef Zapletal in singles, posting a 4-1 singles record while being undefeated from the No. 4 spot.
