Rumour: LEGO Zelda Set Supposedly In The Works After Deku Tree Spotted In Recent Survey

The speculation this time around is for a LEGO set of The Great Deku Tree. Posted on the Eurobricks forum by a user called JeanGreyForever, the design is said to have been spotted when the user received a marketing inquiry for a number of future LEGO projects. German site Promobricks spoke to the source to clarify that this survey was allegedly sent by the manufacturer to get price references on upcoming sets.
According to the original post, the Deku Tree set is a 2-in-1 build of the Mystical Tree, encompassing both its Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild appearances. The figures included appear to be a child Link (OOT style) and a blue-clad Link and Zelda from BOTW. The set itself appears to be in the same vein as the LEGO Biome collection, with a display plaque to the front of a compact base.
There are images of this speculated set making the rounds online, with one such snap posted to Instagram by _michaelbricksforever_. You can check out this image below.
Of course, we have to repeat that this remains a massive rumor. We’ve seen Zelda LEGO “coming soon” for months now, and it hasn’t all come true yet. The chances of this version of Deku Tree being the real deal are pretty slim, we’ll admit, but it certainly looks cool all the same.
