Julian Love: Nick Sirianni getting ‘free ride’ as Eagles coach

New York Giants impending free agent Julian Love didn’t hold back the punches during his appearance on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. Love joined the program on Thursday morning, and her first comments about Nick Sirianni were slightly cocky.
Love said Sirianni was a “great coach” because he didn’t “get in the way of his team”. Love continued with veiled disrespect as he praised the Eagles’ experienced roster before his true emotions were induced by GMFB’s Peter Schrager.
Schrager asked Love what he thought of Sirianni’s cocky antics in the Eagles’ 38-7 win over the Giants, as video of the Eagles coach slowly nodded at the cameras in a boastful manner on the GMFB screen.
Love didn’t hold back and said “I don’t like it” in reference to the antics. Love went on to say that Sirianni was “on a free ride right now”, likely due to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman’s magnificent roster composition.
The Eagles have a talented squad and quarterback Jalen Hurts has grown exponentially as a passer since last season. Everything is going well for Philadelphia, and Sirianni certainly deserves some credit for how it turned out – he’s the head coach.
However, I completely understand why Love would be frustrated enough to make the comments he made on Thursday morning.
