Massive Partnership Lineup Announced for JTG Daugherty Racing’s 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Season

The NASCAR Cup Series season is gathering momentum and JTG Daugherty Racing’s roster of partners for the #47 Kroger Racing Camaro is about to complete its lineup for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.
“We are honored to share news of our lineup of valued Kroger Racing partners today,” said Paul Zindrick, vice president of corporate partnerships for JTG Daugherty Racing. “At the top of the pyramid is Kroger® because we couldn’t do this without their unwavering support. Together, we’ve built a best-in-class program that delivers a positive return on investment for our new and existing partners. »
“It has been a busy off-season and we are delighted to kick off the season with all of our partners,” added Tad Geschickter, co-owner of JTG Daugherty Racing. “Our goal this season is to win races and sell crates!”
One of JTG Daugherty Racing’s oldest relationships and the nation’s largest grocer, The Kroger Co. has played a vital role in the business since 2010. The team has coordinated countless merchandising events and promotional campaigns with several divisions and CPG (consumer packaging) partners. To tie in with divisional activations, the banners will be shot on Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s #47 Camaro. These banners include: Kroger, Dillons®, Food 4 Less®, Fry’s® Food Stores, Mariano’s, Ralphs® and Smith’s® .
For starters, Food 4 Less takes center stage for NASCAR’s electrifying pre-season race, The Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The No. 47 Food 4 Less Camaro will wear The Kraft-Heinz Company’s super-creamy Velveeta® branding during the show run this Sunday on FOX.
“We have an impressive list of partners in our Kroger Racing program,” said two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner and two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. “We look forward to starting our regular season and delivering both on and off the track for our partners Kroger Racing.
JTG Daugherty Racing has added several new partners, including The Coca-Cola Company, which has rich ties to stock car racing with deep roots. This year, the beverage giant has strengthened its partnership with the Kroger Racing team and will feature Coca-Cola® in a variety of races this season on No. 47.
Another major partner added is the Kellogg Company, which delivers delicious brands we know and love while “creating better days and a place at the table for everyone through trusted food brands.” The Kellogg Company will feature hero brand Cheez-It® crackers and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® cereal that gives the “sweet sparkle on the go”.
Blue Buffalo™ dog and cat food is also new to the stable with the best natural ingredients, where quality ingredients are just the beginning. Animals have always been near and dear to the hearts of our team owners since the company’s inception and the brand is a perfect fit.
Surely to be a fan favorite, Dreyer’s™ Grand Ice Cream has jumped on board. For nearly a century, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream has been serving scoops. They’ll spotlight Drumstick®, which has been an American favorite since 1928 and a staple in the team’s freezer over the years.
Continuing its momentum, Tree Top® has also joined the organization of the race. Tree Top is “proud of good fruit and making 100% fruit juice.” They process the fruit they harvest into apple sauce that people have enjoyed for generations. Their apple sauce and apple juice will be displayed on the #47 Camaro.
We are also delighted to announce that Upfield™ is joining the team. They’re new to us, but their slow-churning, creamy Country Crock® spread isn’t new to racing. NASCAR fans can see Mom’s ally in action during Darlington’s Throwback weekend. Plus, I can’t believe It’s Not Butter!® will be featured in the program.
But wait, there’s more! The team welcomes Pit Boss®, which covers the seasonings and spices category and is our official grilling partner for this season. We’re also pleased to announce that Sugarlands Distilling Co., in the centuries-old business of distilling award-winning spirits, has joined the race organization. In addition, to help soothe our pains during the season, Sanofi’s complete line of Icy Hot® pain relief solutions has been signed.
Then our long-term partners. Like The Kroger Co., Kimberly-Clark has been a longtime partner of ours for over a decade. Their first appearance on #47 was also in 2010 with Scott® Products, and they sponsored the #47 car when we visited Victory Lane in 2014 at Watkins Glen International. Scott® Brand, Cottonelle®, Kleenex® and Viva® will be featured on Stenhouse Jr.’s car at various points in the 2023 season. The pioneer and world leader kicks off the regular season with Cottonelle on the #47 Kroger Camaro for the Daytona 500 on February 19.
Another of our innovative partners, Bimbo Bakeries USA, is back for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. For half a decade, their client marketing team has found clever ways to present and successfully activate the partnership throughout the year. We look forward to continuing to grow together and showcasing their iconic brands. Thomas’®, known for “English muffins to all bagels”, is identified as the hero brand while Entenmann’s® and Ball Park® Buns & Rolls will have good visibility at certain events.
Another returning partner includes the trusted brands of Colgate-Palmolive. In 200 years, they have served hundreds of millions of consumers around the world. Their Irish Spring® body wash has been spotted in multiple races during the 2022 season and has been strategically placed on the No. 47 Kroger Racing Camaro for the Bristol Dirt Race. The team needed Irish Spring® Body Wash from the cloud of dirt kicked up during this cool show. Irish Spring returns for the Bristol Dirt Race on April 9th.
Moving from the body wash to the snack bar category, General Mills is back with its bars that are perfect for anywhere. Nature Valley™ gives you snacks that keep you going throughout the day. Plus, they offer golden pizza rolls and festive pizzas from Totino’s™.
Second, Conagra Brands combines a rich heritage of great food with innovation at the heart of what they do. Their signature protein snack, Slim Jim®, is back on the #47 Camaro.
Adding to the power brands listed is The Hershey Company, which has 90 beloved brands and a legacy of kindness. It was nostalgic to see their Reese’s® brand return to NASCAR on Stenhouse Jr.’s #47 Camaro in Charlotte last year. This time around they will be with us at North Wilkesboro Speedway for All-Star Race Weekend.
Next, we have Harvest Hill’s unique, bold and tasty orange drink, SUNNYD®. They have a long history with Stenhouse Jr. before the native of Olive Branch, Mississippi joined JTG Daugherty Racing in 2020. We are proud to announce that they have signed for this season, especially since They played a vital role in Stenhouse Jr. NASCAR Cup Series success: two wins, three pole awards, 20 top fives and 45 top 10s.
Riviana® Foods Inc. is another long-time partner featuring Minute® Rice that suits our team and the fast-paced lifestyle of NASCAR consumers. Minute Rice is quick and easy to make with great flavor for a side dish or as a recipe ingredient and a household name.
That completes the list for now. In the coming weeks, the team plans to share more news as contracts are placed in the drawer. For now, be sure to tune in to the upcoming pre-season exhibition race at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Busch Light Class airs at 8 p.m. ET on FOX, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90) on Sunday, Feb. 5 (and qualifying races begin at 5 p.m. ET).
