Head coach Tarrell Robinson is in his 11th season and is the winningest coach in program history with 194 wins. Robinson has a 196-113 overall record and has made three NCAA Tournament appearances, three WNIT playoff appearances, three conference tournament championships, and four regular season conference championships. Robinson is looking to become the third A&T basketball coach — male or female — to reach 200 wins, joining men’s basketball coaches Cal Irvin and Don Corbett. Additionally, he has a 102-27 record at the Corbett Sports Center. The Aggies’ 89-38 win over Mid-Atlantic Christian on Nov. 15 gave Robinson her 100th win at Corbett Sports Center, the first female coach to reach the milestone. Jazmin Harris is averaging 15.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks, while shooting 53.4 (126 for 236) percent from the floor in his last 19 games. Over the past six games, Jordyn Dorsey is averaging 15.0 points with three games over 19 points. Four Aggies recorded their first college starts this season. Redshirt rookie Chaniya Clark and rookie Taliya Council both got their first college starts against Johnson & Wales (Dec. 10), while sophomore Lalia Acox got her first start against Cincinnati (Dec. 1). and Keona Curtis got her first start at North Carolina Central (December 21). The Aggies are 591-577 and need nine wins for 600 in program history. SCOUTING THE COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON COUGARS College of Charleston won the CAA opener, 53-48, at Towson on Dec. 29 to snap a two-game losing streak. The Cougars were selected second in the CAA preseason poll, while Jenna Annecchiarico was selected to the preseason first team and Anika McGarity was on the CAA preseason honorable mention. Unfortunately, Annecchiarico played in the first game of the season in the only game this season. Jada Logan leads the team with 17.2 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. She also leads the team with 33 assists, while Jazmyn Stone is second with 12.5 ppg and Anika McGarity is third with 10.9 ppg.
